He can hear the dwarves singing their song outside of Wormy's door and wonders if Wormy is going to crisp them with his fire-breathing, but Wormy plans on stumping them. Irving thinks he means stomping the little Rockeaters into the dirt, but Wormy plans on stumping them with a riddle. Irving doesn't think the dwarves will go for it, but Wormy isn't worried because he stole the bowling balls in the first place (Irving chuckles appreciatively).
