I missed that in my readings of the strip. This is really the first time I've started taking it apart. I noticed his cave entrance with the mailbox seems far to small for him.
Good point. I get the feeling that Tramp hadn't quite nailed down the scale of his world in these early strips. Sometimes Wormy is 2 x Irving's height, sometimes 4 x as tall.
Also, this begs the question: whose postal system does the mailbox belong to? The minikins have their own postal system, as evidenced by the Toad Town post office in issue 97. Wormy pays for "postage & handling" to have Siege of the Iron Keep game delivered to his lair, C.O.D. The game is way too big for minikins to handle, so the giants must have their own delivery system as well.
Wormy has his reasons for letting this "little booger" live, too.
