NPC - Lord Guerin of Furyondy

Lord Guerin of Furyondy is a first cousin to Prince Thrommel (Mother's side) and while of highest nobility is far removed from ever inheriting the throne. He is also the younger son of Duke Climent and unlikely to even inherit the dukedom as his older sister is married with three children of her own and is earmarked by the Duke and his council to take things over if the old man should ever die (something the young Guerin doesn't see as a possibility).

Guerin has an adventuresome spirit and has decided to go in search of adventure. He has left his father's estate with what he considers a small band of retainers in search of adventure. Luckily Guerin is well trained in combat and reasonably experienced as well. His two companions are both Paladins of Heironious and his retainers are all veterans with two being experienced Rangers, all are assigned to keep an eye on Guerin by his father the Duke.

1. Lord Guerin of Furyondy experienced Knight, his armor is both finely crafted and enchanted, his longsword shatters shields and splits non-enchanted armor with a well struck blow.

NPC - Nycaise the Red

NPC - Nycaise the Red

Nycaise is the youngest of three sons to the Furyondian knight Sir Toussain who served with Prince Thrommel at the Battle of Emridy Meadows. Unfortunately Nycaise is nothing like his father.

Rather than following the path of knighthood Nycaise was drawn toward the wild and woodlands. He was raised more by the family's chief woodsman while Toussain was away fighting first for his prince and then off to Veluna. The woodsman was more poacher than baliff to the estate and a bit  of a bandit on the side. Nycaise had an affinity both for the woods and for the banditry and became both an excellent bowman and leader of a small pack of outlaws before he left home.

 Nycaise and his band now haunt northern Verbobonc and Dyvers. At times he travels to the City of Greyhawk doffing his fine leather armor and red trappings in favor of fine clothes that the son of a minor Furyondian Lord might wear with his bandit crew cleaned and clothed as his retainers.

NPC - Roynore - Furyondian Warhorse

Furyondy has a proud tradtion of breeding some of the best warhorses in the Flanaess. Even the Great Kingdom cannot claim a greater line than the herd which provides mounts to the Furyondian nobility. The greatest of these is Roynore who was hand raised by Prince Thrommel and who once again bears the prince since his rescue from the Temple of Elemental Evil.

Roynore possesses high intelligence and is able to communicate with Thrommel though he hides this ability from others. He wears a platinum harness that acts as like heavy enchanted barding. He has no bit or reigns but his saddle prevents his rider from being dismounted, his horsehoes provide him with enchanted speed and a series of amulets makes him immune to the sting and wounds of unenchanted missiles.

Roynore considers Thrommel his brother and is devoted to him.
