Butch
The
Ogres Otis and Rudy come up to the cave-mouth where Butch and Wes are playing a
game of chess. The pair are looking for the dwarf who crashed their game of
poker (while Wormy made off with their gold). Butch tells them that a band
"wee-willies" passed by singing about the 'worm of dread". Otis
threatens Butch for letting four hours go by since the dwarves were in the area
and Butch is a smart enough Minotaur not to want to be on the receiving end of
Otis' ball and chain, but as soon as the they are out of ear-shot he gives vent
to some choice remarks about the pair of 'rednecks", finishes his chess
game with Wes with a swift kick of the gameboard and sets off to look for the
Ogres' gold.
That was the first time I ever saw a minotaur with a personality. This comic is good on so many levels.
ReplyDeleteTramp created a fantastic world. As I take each panel apart I find all this incredible detail. I love the giant-sized red ogres and his common people are trolls and Dragons that are into wargaming and RPGs.
